About Us
Bite the Globe is a student-run nonprofit organization providing reviews of the best restaurants in the Research Triangle Park. We were founded in 2017 by Yixue Li, a foreign exchange student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her mission was to share the joy of food with her peers through exploring different cultural cuisines in the Chapel Hill area. Since then, Bite the Globe has grown to include around 75 passionate undergraduate students dedicated to providing a service to their peers and to visitors of the Chapel Hill area through reviews.
